Specification comparison
Key differences
- Chemistry differs: DAP Alex Plus is a siliconized acrylic polymer (base polymer), filler calcium carbonate, B1 is an acrylic latex caulk. Confirm paint and substrate requirements before switching.
- B1 is paintable: paintable, smooth finish. Where the joint is an exterior weatherseal rather than a painted one, look at GAUDON G2 or G3 instead.
- Case pricing is quoted directly. Send a quote request with the quantity you need and we price it for you, then orders go by email or phone.
